VPAT - Accessiblility Conformance Report

Documentation

An Accessibility Conformance Report is a document that evaluates how accessible a product (such as software or a website) is for individuals with disabilities, detailing compliance with standards like the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and Section 508. It assesses features like screen reader compatibility and keyboard navigation, providing a clear understanding of the product's accessibility strengths and areas for improvement. The Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPATĀ®) 2.4 is a preferred format for these reports due to its comprehensive nature. It aligns with multiple standards, including WCAG 2.0/2.1 and EN 301 549, offering a structured and detailed approach for vendors to convey their product's accessibility, thus aiding consumers, especially those with disabilities, in making informed decisions, and guiding developers in enhancing accessibility.

We complete a VPATĀ® each year using the most current version of the platform. As the platform is continuously improving, these reports may sometimes be out of sync with the actual platform, but in general they will align. If you encounter any issues with our platform, content, or documentation, you can always contact us at accessibility@coursekata.org with your questions and concerns.
